Wanted Sources for NEW 5spd bellhousing plate?

Trying to find a new bellhousing plate for a 1988 5spd 4x4 ranger. Any leads?

Could go by that name as well, I've never heard it called that while I was in the profession. But that doesn't mean that it's not another term for the same thing.
Just looking for source that sells new Bellhousing plates, (between the trans and the motor).

Starter index plate is another...

.they are at the junkyard and on e bay.

The cologne is not like the sbf ...they are new at summit. May be a mustang 4.0 application there

I am trying to find a new plate if possible, and finding a 1st gen Ranger in my area is near impossible (from a yard), they are not anywhere in any of the surrounding yards. Also I am trying to source a NEW one. Hence the title of my post on the grand ole internet to see if someone at least has a new sitting in their basement.

4cyl or v6? I assumed v6....the 4.0 stuff will work for that.

Oh I know it's out there somewhere just got to find it *X-files theme playing in the background*
I wish I had at least a 4.0. but I still have a 2.9. Been trying to source a GOOD healthy small block v8, but prices have been to the sky for junk, or someone snags a good one before I can get to it or they won't ship it.

What shape is it in. I need something that is either near new or in damn good shape. I'm not trying to drop this transmission more than once. Pictures more info?

Pictures? Can you put a straight ruler on it so I can see how bent up it is? I'm pretty much need one where the hole for the starter hasn't been wrapped and had the metal stretched around it so the starter doesn't sit flush and flat.

I didn't disappear. I can't sell a plate thats 34 years old and expect it to look like new. I hope you find one. I ran the part number and found nothing. Even ran it thru 2 Ford dealers. The ranger started fine , but I changes it to a 5 speed off a 4.0.
