So i'm almost done with the snorkel. just have to plumb in the axle breathers, and put on more permanant brackets to hold it on the pillar. then it's on to electrical sealing, relocating and the search for cheap electric fans or fan.

I made it from 3" ABS plastic and premade elbows with one rubber elbow. fabing some better brackets to hold it to the pillar, it has a 3.5" u bolt holding it very securly to the fender. has a k&n filter on top and have a Atv prefilter to go over that to keep water out when it gets splashed or is raining. costed me under $70 filter included. I know it looks like it hit the door, but there is plenty of clearance. enjoy.

thanks for looking!

I was going to run it straight out and add a filter on top like you did, but what will ya do when it rains?

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
i prefer not to run out the fender, they get ripped off that way and you need to have the stuff packed to deal with it. at least mine would i like to flop around on occasion.

my hoodie is off but i sometimes have a prefilter and the hoodie though. the prefilters always get ripped off:pissedoff:

the reason the hoodie is off is because it got tore off from laying on its side in a washout leaning into a tree. and that is with it not sticking out past the fender:dntknw:

I bought them from www.lmctruck.com , their 14" flexalites. They are on the small side, but i know they don't hit the old fan mount or the core support. With those and a 4.0 radiator i have no problem keeping my truck cool.
