thats my big problem with snow around here, the calcium chloride.

I also hate being cold so thats my other problem with snow. I definitely hate driving in it.

I never charge anybody to pull them out of the ditch...... unless it was obvious stupidity that lead to being in the ditch..... but people that just get stuck or slide off the road don't get a stupid tax........ although I do make them sign a waiver removing me of all liability from damage.

I just can't wait until there's enough snow for me to break out the snowmobiles. I love when we get a couple of feet and I can just rip around town all day long until they start plowing it. It's probably the only reason why I don't mind the snow.

I agree, the paper said something about a mix being tried that would reduce the amount of salt used in the winter to help lower the cost for counties, but the alternative makes a paste that goes on the road instead, is it just me or is a paste of some sort even worse, wouldn't it be harder to clean off your vehicle

I just drove 8 hours from Northern Illinois to Northern Michigan. Through this snow storm. Indiana and central Michigan are bad, already 4 or more inches on the ground.

Oh boy, more SNOW!

My back is already sore from the last week...and it's been snowing a bit today with calls for a heavy storm...

Not sure who it is that is "calling for snow", but if I ever find them I'm gonna slap them upside the heads...
