Even tho I keep eyeing a 5.0 swap after the current 2.9 is done in my BII, I keep having these nagging doubts that I'm leaving something on the table with the 2.9.
I upgraded to a Camcraft cam, matched the upper and lower intake, and even got lucky with a set of Pacesetter headers, but I keep thinking that on the next rebuild, instead of doing he 5.0 swap, I should port the World heads, and figure out a way to install a set of 4.0 roller lifters and see what I can get out of the combo.
How about it, any super whiz bang mechanics ever tried this or know why it wouldn't work?
Thanks,
