so i rolled my 99 ranger. the roof is a bit dented but there wasnt alot of damage. my question is can i cut the top panel of the roof oof and weld another on?

yes, just make sure the person doing it knows what there doing. its easier to pull the head liner and hammer out the dents depending on the severity of the damage.

As forementioned, it takes some skill to be able to remount a roof, weld it securely(very important, don't want to roll it again and have it crush your skull!) and made it look pretty, are you a welder by chance?

i do some weldn, mostly fabrication stuff.the roof is dented so bad it probaly cant be hammerd out, but its just in the middle

beat it out with a hammer, then just lift it 6" and put some 33s on it... then no one will be able to see the roof!

you'll need to take the windshield and back glass out, then drill all the spot welds on all 4 sides, and it'll come right off.
