Hey Everyone

Calling out to all of the TRS Members for some help in advance. I am getting ready to take a very big road trip from Texas to Pennsylvania for holiday vacation.

I want to put together a contact list in the event something happens during our trip. Please PM or e-mail me (hzmtrsq@gmail.com) with your name and phone number and where you live.

I am going to go North to Ohio (to teach a class in Findlay) and then East to Pa. When I go home it will be South through Va, Tn, and Ark. So if you live along any of the major highways in those areas please contact me.

I will not be calling anyone "unless" something happens and I need some assistance.

Thanks Everyone

I posted a request in the trips and vacations forum and got no replies except doorgunner.

I am going to go North to Ohio (to teach a class in Findlay) and then East to Pa.
When you get up to Ohio and you're going up I-75, about 20 mile south of Findlay is Bluffton (exit 140). Look off to the west just as you get to the off ramp and wave at the row of houses (the yellow one) across the field. I moved from there about a year ago. I'm in Texas now so I won't be of much help.

Stop in Beaver Dam (exit 135) at the Speedway and fill up. They usually have the lowest prices for gas. Watch the highway from that point north to Findlay if there is snow and wind. It can get pretty nasty.

If there's no snow, start watching around the 130 marker for the state cops. They love sitting in the middle all along there up to Findlay. If there is no snow you might catch one sitting off in the grass just behind an overpass (no exit) going through Bluffton.

Have a safe trip!

If I get time to meet up with anyone I will def get some pics - the Hazmat Ranger might just blend in with the snow and be camouflage! LOL

My route North will be as follows:

I-30 East out of Dallas, Tx to Little Rock, Ark

I-40 East out of Little Rock to Memphis, Tenn (Maybe swing by Graceland)

I-55 North out of Memphis to Sikeston, Missouri

I-57 NE from Sikeston to :icon_confused: Effingham, Illinois

I-70 East from Effingham :icon_rofl: to Dayton, Ohio

I-75 North from Dayton to Findlay.

After that I will be heading to Pennsylvania with a stop near Lisbon to meet Jim.

If you live on or near this route I would like to add you to my "Justin Case List" LOL.

Thanks everyone.

:icon_cheers:

Depending on where you're headed to in PA, I might be along the route.

Dude - you won't need any help. Your truck is too cool to break down. I like the way it sounds. You posted up any pics of that front bumper repair from wacky Waco?

No repairs yet - like a badge of honor but no idea why LOL. I need to find a newer model bumper and get to fixing that - New Years Resolution . . .:icon_welder:

Sounds like you might be going kinda right past me. Guess I'll have to shoot you a PM if you want to swing by or something. Don't really have anything fancy to show off though, all my junk needs fixed.
