I have a 96 reg cab short bed. The tank clears the case by about an inch, until I put in my speed sensor. It goes right into the tank. Anyone have luck heating the tank and massaging it a little to get clearance? I don't want to have to get a fuel cell if I don't have to. Any help would be appreciated.

I would be reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaall careful trying that... Use a heat gun on Low, don't even think of using a flame of some sort (hopefully that would go without saying, but I'm saying it anyway)

If it's anything more than a small indentation you need, I wouldn't even bother, just swap to a smaller tank or a BII tank in the rear (IIRC, user Bray D here did a BII tank on his, maybe look him up).
