Jovi, at 6' I can understand you on the room issue. That's the #1 reason that I am hesitant to swap buckets into my regular cab. I do fit better in my 99 extended cab than I did in my 84 regular cab, but I like the looks of a regular cab first gen a lot better. When I was searching for a replacement for the 84 I went form over function, I did DD one for over 4 years not thinking it was too small.

While I agree with multi about it looking better on a standard cab, I don't really think it looks bad on an extended cab. Either is better than a comparable S-10.

That black one isn't a shadow bed, not to burst any bubbles or anything but it's a chevy bed.

Either way, it looks badass and I want it.

Nope after looking at the original molds for the beds.It was another version offered by the company that made the beds.

Either way, it's not the mold that was used for the Shadow trucks.

I've seen the same beds on Chevy's and Toyota's like you posted, and once on a Nissan. The same company made different aftermarket beds for trucks, I was just stating that the bed wasn't a shadow bed. Calling every stepside bed a shadow bed makes it harder to maintain true shadows.

Of the one's you posted, I've only seen the top right and bottom left used on Shadows.
I suppose it's my bad for calling it a Chevy bed. It's just that I've seen them on about eight S10's in the JY over the years, and several times on the streets. That black ranger is the first one that I've seen on one of our trucks.

I know I didn't mean it was a shadow bed.I was just saying the same company made the beds. The step side truck I bought from the local ford dealer wasn't a shadow either. But the inside of the box is the same.Wish I could find the molds for the bed.I found the ones for the shadow beds and the chevy style beds.
