Figured I'd document this project. I'll let everyone know ahead of time as I am a professional mechanic at work... I'm just a high tech redneck when I get home and work on my own shiznit! The truck is 90 2.3 dual plug 5spd reg cab long bed. This is a when I bought it and how she sits now 1 1/2 coil cut front with conc. Bushings for aligment and shackle flip rear.

I have this IHI turbo from an 88 coupe since this is a mild build will be enough a daily driver. Turbo block I'm taking forge pistons and putting them in the extra dual plug block I have. The fuel tank is actually a def tank that I'm gonna be using for e85 for a lil flex fuel capability

I have this extra intake which is same that is on ranger currently so I will do some mild porting, I know this is not the best intake but it has some room for improvement mainly leveling out the lower intake runners and knife edging lower, the upper throttle body hole I will open as large as possible and cut the gasket to match

I've already installed a 3" maf housing and 3" intake since my factory boot was cracked. Also currently have 3" highflow cat and 2.5 stainless exhaust to e-cutout before axle and magnaflow after axle no tip yet but I'm looking for a piece of copper pipe 2.5" mainly because my courier turbo has 3" copper tip and it looks cool!

Started a little porting today, between work 3 kids, 30+ chickens and a honey do list a mile long, I got some of the upper intake ported. I really wish would have weighd it first and/or filled it with sand to see the volume before and after, although I could always do it when I'm done and use the other when I replace it to get a rough estimate.

I believe they called that turbo super charging in WWII. They used it quite a bit on the piston driven aircraft for more power and more altitude.

That's great and all, but what if you had twin compound turbos feeding your dual superchargers.

Do that one.
