I had one also, 2.3 4speed T-K trans longbed.

It also had factory dual tanks which was why I bought it.

LONG gone...

Ours was also a long bed. Single tank though. The dash panel wad a brushed aluminum finish and didn't have any idiot lights between the gauges like our 87. It also had the old style radio that had separate holes for the tuning and volume knob.

I know it would take up space but that's why we all pay for the premium membership *cough cough* is to have a page that has each year and detailed photos showing what was added each year model. I think it would be a great addition to TRS.

We used to have 1983 ranger with a 1982 build date.

It was 2wd with stamped steel beams. They were not cast or forged.

It was a 4 speed stick with a carbed

I had a 83 Ranger and I loved it. Ford introduced the 83 as a late model '82. My Vin number was 000154. I had that truck for a very long time and still miss it. I sold it back in 2001. I bought it in '84 in California with 10,000 miles on it. Lifted it and added 33x12.5 tires and added 4:88 gears and lots of lights for wheeling accross the lower USA. Drove it back and forth from Caifornia and Florida a bunch of times.
