Hey guys so I took the truck to the dealer for a coolant flush and thermostat issue. Told them to make sure no head gasket was bad. They put in a new water pump and thermostat everything was fine they said. Temp gauge fluctuates a little while driving but I still have heat. Anyway No overheating going on. No coolant loss that I can see. No white smoke. No coolant in oil. I'm attaching a link to some videos I'm just curious if Im' paranoid or if this is something to get looked at. Also when I rev the engine coolant gets sucked into the radiator. Someone please for the love of good put my mind a little at ease.

No coolant loss is good.

reving the engine causes the water pump to turn faster which pulls water from the bottom end of the radiator which pushes coolant in via the top end... that might be your coolant getting sucked into the radiator.

Keep an eye on it just to make sure that all the flush and thermostat/ waterpump work is ok and not leaking, but it sounds like everything is fine.

My credo
Nothing is so difficult it cannot be overcome by brute force and ignorance =8-)
I learned a really good cooling system cleaning tip :

powdered citric acid and water .

Mix one pound of citric acid in one gallon of water , mix well and fill the drained and flushed of old coolant cooling system,, button 'er up, turn the heater on FULL and drive it to work let sit all day and drove home, the mix will turn color, if your water jacket has scale, solder bloom or rust in it it may well turn black, this is a very good thing .

Drain it and refill with water, run it , drain it, repeat until there's no more color in the coolant then drain and refill with good quality coolant .

This is shiznit because it doesn't hurt aluminum .

This means that old '89 Honda , Mazda, Datsun or whatever in the back yard can be made to run without overheating again .

I use only distilled water because out tap water is so hard I could almost pound nails with it .
