Well, we put that beast of a motor in out of desperation to make the Beehive race April 13th. Unfortunately it requires a custom set of headers and the oil pan needs to be changed, which could not be done in time. So looks like we are just going to try and get the heads done and get the 302 running in time to make the race.

Parts keep flowing but it's going to be close.

I thought he swapped out to a 351 thats now a 418

Read post #1311. And if you can't tell that that is a 302 just by looking at it, you haven't been around Fords enough....

You can tell by the heads/shape of the block. 351's look different. Plus see the white goo around the bottom head bolts? A 302's lower head bolts need thread sealant because they go into the water jackets, a 351's do not.
