They should both fit. The wiring between the columns may be different but it should bolt in just fine.

Thats good to know. I found a posting on craigslist a guy right down the road from me bought a 87 4x4 to make his 86 2x4 into a 4x4. Hes selling the rest for cheap. :headbang::yahoo:
