On my fuel rail on driver side, there's kinda little pump with a vaccum hose on back. Is that the fuel pressure regulator?

If not, what is that?

Ok, so i have another question now. For a while i add an hard time starting my truck, and it was smelling gas when it sarted.

This morning i pulled the vaccum line on the back of my FPR, and there was gasoline. To do a test i cancelled that vaccum line, then my engine start very well and run very well too.

So i don't understand why my engine goes well with that vaccum cancelled.

I hope you guys understand what i'm trying to say.
