so after taking a 2 tear break from rbvs i found myself wanting one again. so i started searching craigslist with a $2000 budget. sadly though all the trucks set up the way i wanted was way over my budget. so after a week of searching an ad popped up for a 94 extra cab 4wd automatic 4.0 for 1000. so i went and looked at it and ended up buying it without giving it a good look over. the bodys 90% rust free but you get to the rear of the frame rails an every thing past the spring hangers is gone:annoyed:. but i own it now so its gonna get fixed. plans are fix the frame, manual tcase hubs and transmission. suspension wise im unsure but itll stay ttb and ill be running 33s-36s. ill get pictures uploaded tomorrow

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
not sure when the sub assembled the rear sections....if you have the sub model you can just pull it apart and put some good condition junkyard rails back there.....its a bolt in.

otherwise make it better with you welder and a trip to the steel store.

well today i got my manual tcase and hubs and ended up grabbing a 1 piece driveshaft along a complete set of speakers a cd player.
heres a pic of the truck as of today

the 15x10 inch rims with 3 inch back spacing i may use not sure yet i know the the backspacing will kill my wheel bearings

the patches for my rear frame rails i was gonna fab my own but useing these will save me time which i don't have much of lately

couldn't get the bolts off the tcase at the junk yard so one of the workers suggested taking a sledge to the tranny lol so i did:icon_hornsup:

and a pic of my new truck and my old gen4 that i sold a friend 2 years ago
