Yes i have a 2000 ford ranger and i like ppl looking at my truck i can find parts for the extior and even for the interior but i want to find stuff for the engin bay i have the cold air intake but dose anybody no wher to find valve covers and things like that any help would appreacited thank you for your time

as far as i know, noone makes aftermarket "shiney" valve covers for the 3.0.

you could get some metal valve covers off an older taurus and paint them up...

you can also buy those colored split loom kits for dressing up hoses and wiring under the hood...

any year should bolt up...double check locations of filler tubes and PCV valves and the like.

I seen an article in Petersens 4Wheel & Off-Road, 3-4 years ago, about a Whipple Supercharger, chrome plated no less (maybe it was stainless, whatevr), any way, might be right up your alley. :3gears:

ya it isn't the place where anyone needs alot of speed that is why i got rid of my supercharged ZX3 i got my little ranger now all i want is some sound got the cold air intake is there is there any serten muffler that is perfect for the ranger or are they all just as good and some flashness iside is good got 2 800 watt kenwood subs and painted intioer now i need some flash for the engin bay and the body any suggestion's

To tell you the truth I would not even bother with the valve covers, because one is completely covered by the intake manifold. There really isn't all that much you can do to a three liter to make it look good. Taking it out and painting it with the high temp orange paint would be good, but taking out an engine just to paint it is like a guy sittin on the toilet just to piss, too much time/effort for your purpose.

you could pull the plenum off and paint it...
