Yeah the rears can be a pain. Don't remove the lower arm bolt. That will just make it harder. And don't reuse the isolators.
Isolators your talking about the rubber boots to help with skweeking right? I always thought you was suppose to reuse them. I wounder if i can buy new ones? Or should I not use them at all.

Had problems with the heat sheild removal so I could install the O2 senser. Had problems getting the rear drums off. Then I had prolems getting them back on. Had trouble with the air box bolt. then the sparkplugs was too tight in the block and I thought i was going to brake one off. not to mention the plug wires wouldn't come off either. And I had a mopar oil filter I had to remove. It only took me forever but I got it done and the car is much better now. Just gotta work on the springs now....

Heres the bitch.

Broken 15mm socket.

Badly worn rotor.

Good thing you got that filter off. If you'd a left that on there much longer, the transmission would have went out.

Paint the rotor too so it doesn't turn to rust everywhere except where the pad touches.

Completly unrelated I finally got the 8.8 diff cover I won!

On another note: I finally ran into the dude at work I know that has a full service garage he runs on the weekends. He's gonna let me bring my car over and use his impact gun to get the struts off. He said use what you want I'll help out if you need it. So looks like this weekend if he has the room. He's actually working on a '95 ranger that has a bad tranny right now. He knew I had a ranger tranny sitting around but I told him mine is of a 87.

Got the springs in with the help of Jim Oaks, grey_04, black'03Level2, and Jims friend John.

Assembly out.

Grey_04 working on compressing.

All of us wrestling the new spring into place under the shock mont.
Jim Oaks said:
In the presence of royalty.

Got the front in and buttoned up.

Broke head off the bold on the rear lower control arm bolt trying to unbolt it.

Jim trailered the car over to a friends house to have the bolt welded up.

Rears are in and all buttoned up.

Car all finished we was all celebrating before we go eat.

One last finised pic before as jim closes the shop up.

Found this cool building on the way home I thought it would make a awesome back ground.

Once I we got home took some more poser pics.
