Recently I had lost power when going up and down hills. I have replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump but it was neither of them.

I'm not sure where the relays are located if this can even be the issue. As long as the truck is sitting or driving on a flat surface it runs great. But after a bit going up or down hill it will shut right off.

It's a 98 ranger ext cab. Not really sure what else could cause this or any other trouble shooting I can do since my brother moved away and he was my mechanically inclined guy haha.

Any insight would be great so I can hopefully get this together before the kids school starts

Thanks yall.
