Hey There! My pops owned a similar ranger when I was a kid. So when I saw it the other day, I had to pick it up. ‘86 super cab 4x4.

Then, roughly 9 years later, i stumble on her damn near identical twin sister...

Everything is the same right down to gear ratio and interior color.

Rusty, looks like the silver paint on those trucks is a rust inducer, not inhibitor

Sure would seem that way.

This spring i may end up putting rusty #1s well used, but good functioning 2.9L heart in rusty #2.

If the issues im having are indeed mechanical,
