2wd and 4x4 are not the same spline on RBV's

Older 2wd transmission (the TK, 2wd A4LD and FM132 are a different spline.)

What are you trying to do?

the 4x4's ALL RBV transmissions are 25-spline shaft.

the 2wd Mazda M5OD are 28-spline

I don't know offhand what the 2-wheel-drive A4LD, 4R44E, 4R55E, 5R55E, TK5 and FM132 use,
because I have none of them available to me at the moment.

Again, what are you trying to do?

I was browsing through old threads and figured I'd add a little info here for the sake of completeness and to benefit the next guy who might want the same info (and knows how to use the search function).

To add to what Allan back in December, Here's a pic of the end of the drive shaft slip yoke from a 2000 Ranger/2wd/3.0L 4R44E automatic. It appears to be a 24 spline (or would that be 25?)

if you’re looking for the manual transmission end yoke, which is exactly my situation that i had, got one from a 3.0 2000 extended cab AUTO, you need part #F6ZZ-4841-BA it is the correct yoke for the manual trans with the weird weight thing on it, i tried using the original slip yoke from my 96 manual and realized they are different size u joints.
