Not only am I getting close to 40mph they have reduced road friction so much I no longer need to run oil in my truck. Three more stickers, two more bits of chrome and a bigger battery and I won't even need gas anymore. Not bad for 1500hp from a stock 302 ( did I mention the chrome ).

You can also paint everything the same color with a rattle can but it doesn't add nearly the power or torque that chrome does.

Really good stuff here. I'm learning a lot!

How do you guys bolt wings to your trucks? The only way I could make it work on mine was to screw it to the back of the tailgate. It works great as long as the gate is down, but it looks kind of goofy with the gate up. Any ideas?

Rattle can chrome? You don't want it to look cheesy. Plus silver clashes with the shag carpet bed liner.

So my brakes started to squeak the other day. I think I know what the problem is, there are these two things that are touching this round disc like thing. I think that's where the noise is coming from. Does anyone know where I can get some grease for in there? Oh and what's this I hear about blinker fluid?

Get earplugs. They work for the brake squeal, lifter tap, loose body panels--everything just about.

You only have blinker fluid if you have hydraulic turn signals. Check the manual. You can get one at helminc.com if you don't have one for your truck.

Just turn up the stereo, it cures all squeals.
Blinkers on the older trucks are not hydraulic they're mechanical. All you need to do is check the cable tension. They should be between 3ft/lbs-127ft/lbs. Hope that helps.

My air conditioner broke today, can anyone help diagnose it? Can I just buy a can of R12 and dump that in?

If EPA guidelines, and common decency and taste, were followed that thing would be sealed in a concrete vault in a toxic waste dump. But otherwise, go ahead and try a can of 12, and it looks like the mounting flange could use resealing, too.

I'm guessing it's because you put diesel fuel in the generator. You need to use a mixture of Used gear oil and snow bowl toilet cleaner and it must be exactly a 50/50 mixture if your off by an ounce it wont run. Also I think you forgot to plug it in. Make sure you cut off the ground terminal before you do or it won't work. RB

Hey guys can I run 35's with my D28? I just put some new auto hubs on it and cranked the torsion bars 6 inches so I think it will hold up fine. :p
HA!! That's a good one!
