hi i just bought a 1989 model year ranger 2wd lxt :). now a few days ago it was cranking fine but had no spark and it didnt sound like the fuel pump was running not sure on that. as of yesterday the starter cranks very slow. i try it a few times then it just dies. wont even operate on hard test ex. + to power post _ to bolt on back. i have gone through 3 starters 2 used one reconditioned they all started ok but then just died there doesnt seem to be a short. i put a new soloniod in. i have 12 volt batt side, only 3 volts starter side. but starter will not operate even with direct jumper. seems like theres pressure or somthing holding it from turning. checked all pulleys they are all fine dont kno what else to do
