I bought a 1986 Ford Bronco II a month or so ago as my first car. I really liked the small 4x4 Bronco II's and I bought one for $1,000. I have already spent around $700 in parts to make it a good daily driver. A new windshield, new floor pan, roof rack, ranger 60/40 bench seat, throttle positioning sensor, window trim, both exhaust manifolds, new tailpipe, and various other things. Here is a pic:

Beautiful BII man, really. With that split bench, your interior almost matches mine =P.

Thanks for the comments! I'm planning on using this as my winter vehicle for now because I have a 1998 Mustang GT to drive in the summer. I really like the look of the rangers and bronco II's. It is very unlikely in Michigan to have another Bronco II pull up next to you at a light.
