Hi! New member here, and probably in the same category as the majority. I'm not a mechanic, but I do nearly all of my own work. Anything less than rebuilding an engine and I'll take it on, after doing the appropriate research. Anyway, I just figured out a slow brake fluid leak that has been plaguing me for over half a year. I think this information is extremely valuable as it seems to be fairly common with rangers but I couldn't find *anything* on it on the web. I would like to share the tread I posted it on.
I have a 2000 Ranger XL with about 180k miles, 2.5 cylinder engine, 2WD, nothing special or modified really. Except, she is very special to me! She has taken excellent care of me over the years, and I'd like to think I've done the same for her. She still runs like new, so I guess I'm doing something right! I think she has more new parts than OEM ones at this point, but I'm not mad at her. She always tells me when something is wrong before it breaks, because I listen to her .
