Hello all. I am the proud owner of a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT. My truck is driven daily and from jobsite to jobsite. My last 3 jobs were in Little Rock, Dallas and Birmingham. Lots of mileage. I pride myself on doing almost all the work on my truck. I love this site and visit here every day. I especially like the newer trucks with 5.0 engines because, hopefully this is in my future. I have purchased a block from D.S.S. competition products. It is a Level 10 race prepped 302 late model hydr. roller block. Squared, equalized, bored and stroker clearanced. Bore 4.030. This block sits now in a storage unit on a stand soaked in oil and wrapped in celophane, waiting on me. Currently I lack the time, the money and truthfully, the knowledge to complete my dream swap. Imagine... Red_Rider_00, 347c.i., C-4 auto, 9inch, 450h.p., driven daily!!! One day it may happen, but for now I must be content to dream and study similar vehicles. It's not an easy task. Not at all for the fainthearted. But it's a goal and (I believe) a grand one. Thanks, Jeffrey C. Olds(Red_Rider_00) P.S. I posted pics on the RBV Gallery where it said to upload photos, I hope my meager offering is eligible for TOTM. MAYBE??
