Hi all,
I am sorry to post this here, but I dropped the transmission/case to replace the concentric slave cylinder and check things out. 4th gear was a bit noisy and a little “challenging,” noisy to engage, after getting it back from a “moving experience.” Preliminary examination shows at oil drain plug, 2 metal gear pieces, insert key,and a piece of synchronizing blocking spring stuck to the magnet. Removed the upper shift assembly and found 4th gear synchronizer missing pieces.
I need to replace it and refresh the tranny. Any advice on a good supplier of parts to Canada?
If I need to repost this in another area please let me know.
