Need A4LD advice

I acquired my mom's 88 Bronco II 4x4 its needs a transmission the reverse does not work when it gets warm and going into overdrive kills all the gears for a good while.
anyway, it needs a transmission. I am here in the PNW, Portland/Vancouver area to be exact. any recommendations on a reliable shop to have it rebuilt? or does anyone have one they want to sell and install?

I would try my hand at rebuilding it myself but I have no place to do it.

Thanks, A 2 hr drive north would be a long trip for transmission work.

I live in Bremerton but they were the best around at the time. I made 3 trips but I would do it again as their work was and still is solid.

Their rebuilds Incorporated all upgrades and they made me use their torque converter for their warranty (a bonus for me as their TQ converter was much more stout than the unit I bought).

I have since learned of a local specialist who is better but for an over the counter drop off and pick-up, these guys REALLY impressed me.

As a closing note, last I checked, they do not want to mess with A4LD's but it would be worth to work out a deal with them. If memory serves, I gave them a core and $750.00 plus tax.

What are your thoughts on https://transmissioncenter.net/? I would still need to find someone to install it since I don't have a place to work on vehicles atm

Find a shop that they deal with.
