Hey guys, been a long time since Ive been around, kinda got out of the RBV scene for a bit, but I just picked up a new project, to add to my workload of my 86. Decided to start a build thread before I got started working on er as she needs alot of love.
The truck:
-1990 BroncoII rusty silver
-Dana 35 front, 7.5 rear
-fm146 trans
-BW1354 elec t-case
-2.9L v6 (seized up tight, looks like head/gasket as the engines FULL..of milk)
The plan:
-4.0L swap(Just happen to have 3 engines laying around )
-Run the FM146 till she drops
-4" lift with 31 or 32 inch tires
-a cheap paint job to spruce er up a touch
This was may 10th/2012 when I went and loaded it up-
These are may 11th/2012 when i pulled the engine after work to prepare for the engine swap, planning to have the swap done by sunday night, tommorrow morning ill be dropping in the 4.0. Would have done it tonight but after pulling wrenches for 11 hours at work and another 3 at home id had enough. Also tonight I started a little bit of the body work, pulled the dent out of the fender and adjusted the door.
And one of the two shop dogs-
Let me know what you guys figure
I know the pics suck...
