Ive done a bit of that already and only thing I had was my coil slipped a bit on the top bucket and lost a bolt for the frame mount for the longarms. At first, I gave no mercey, I hit curbs, every pot hole I could, etc...and all has held up well for me.

Like I have said once and will say and live by....build it, break it, rebuild it stronger. If it holds to you beating on it then it should handle anything less then that just fine.

Thats because it has 10,000 moving parts that do the samething as any other suspension....moves up and down (dont go into details about that either, I was just saying what it does).

In this case less equals more.

from what i gathered after reading other forums and threads it improves ride quality. most factory leaf spring trucks, except jeep put the shackle in the rear. and most jeep forum guys and gals reverse the shackle to rear

They put them in the rear, cuz in the front as the bushings start to wear, the steering gets loose and the axle wanders when there is steering input

The 4x4 should work even without a locker. Im running an open diff. on mine but will be putting an aussie in it one day.

locker isn't the issue.... front diff is 3.73 and rear is 3.27.. will explode important parts if i engage 4x4 to do some climbing

Get it into mud and it wont know the difference. But the rear will be pushing the front, generally you want the front to pull. But I would ge them change out ASAP.
