My 88 BII ongoing rust repairs slow build

Finnally got the firewall rust out and repaired have to finish up inside the cab and post more pics amazing where it rusts under the dash,and now i know why my floorboards were getting wet.

I will be doing explorer dash swap and steering column i still need to mount the plate for the steering column off the donor ex.

Looks good! I'm not looking forward to messing with my firewall one day...Did you find that your firewall had like a foam layer on it? Mine does but its painted over?...

Either way, I'm leaking in the cab due to the cowl. I'm hoping to patch what I can in a few weeks by taking the entire front clip and fenders off.

You will probally find it has rusted inside the vents across the front where the wiper assemblly are this is where the leaves and anything else that fits sits and collects moisture.Mines easy repair since i have dash pulled out .I will have more pics in few days when i finish the inside off.

Yeah, I plan to pull my dash at the time I fix it as well. It'd be a dream of mine to completely rebuild my truck top to bottom.
