I have to do the leaf-spring shackle-bracket replacement after one of mine rusted through and broke. I noticed a lot of talk on here about pulling the bed to do this. Is it really necessary to pull the bed? I have a sprayed-in Rhino-liner on mine and the guy who did it covered the six torx-screws that hold the bed in. It seems like it will be a pain in the @ss to remove them with the bolts covered in that gunk. Anyone do this job without removing the bed? Is it that much harder?

I have changed the hangers on a 90 with out pulling the bed. It was not fun. If you can easily remove the bed it would make life easier
