Looks like Europe is getting a Ranger varient I would like to see.

It's mostly a cosmetic package, no high HP motor or anything as powerful as the Raptor Ranger, but a welcome step away from every Ranger needing a lift and skidplates and knobby tires and all that other stuff. At least Europe gets it that not every truck owner needs to blast down dirt trails and sling mud to feel like a truck owner. this truck keeps the payload and tow capacity of a normal Ranger while looking cooler than the "lifted for no reason" 2wd trucks.

It helps that full size trucks really aren't a thing in Europe. The roads and parking are pretty tight. Ofcourse, the level of skill I've seen displayed by bus drivers over there is over the top. They get in and out of places I would never think about attempting when I drove bus. But I also had a trailer the same size as the bus with a pintle system and 4-wheel sterring too. So, there's that....

In anycase, full sized pickup trucks are a very rare thing. So, they need all the options they can get with smaller trucks

Not sure we can even get much of a sport truck in a fullsize anymore.

For me, it's just a nice step away from the offroad cenrtricity that seems to be the norm now. You can't even buy a 2wd truck that looks like a 2wd truck, at all, unless you want a fwd Maverick. I've said it before and I'll always say it, NOT every truck needs lift and off road equipment/appearance. The Raptor and TRX are obviously NOT street trucks, and even though it is just bulgy fenders and a distinct front fascia, I like the idea of the street truck coming back to the industry, even if it's not in the US.

I wasn't saying the TRX was a street truck, just that it is really the only performancy offering from Ram aside from a bodycolor "Sport"

Not like yesteryear when they had the SRT-10, Rumble Bee, Daytona etc.

Right, I didn't think you were calling the TRX or Raptor a street truck. the MS-RT Ranger IS a street truck, and I like it and the whole concept.
Dodge has the TrackHawk Durango and the Ford Explorer ST is it's closest competition. They just need to apply the same R&D to a Ranger now.

I'm not knocking the 4wd community, I'm just saying not every person who wants a truck , needs MT tires, 4" of lift, 4wd, and trail assist, or whatever. Some of us Need a truck and want it to go fast. The MS-Rt checks a lot of the boxes I want .
big 21" rims✅
street tires ✅
lower ✅
wider ✅
no skid plates or bash bars or trail assist or crawl control, or blue or red tow hooks or . . . I could go on & on. IMO THIS is the "Splash package" we should have got.
