Still no power in my part of Hotlanta after the 50 mile an hour winds last night. But I still feel better than this guy around the corner...

Ok, Maybe my mini tractor trailer project won’t hold quite that much weight...

You never realize how heavy the tree is until you try to move it. We had one about that size up at the hunting camp to cut up. We had to cut into thirds or quarters in order to be able to drag it.

That happened to my coworker’s car yesterday, too. My power flickered a lot but stayed on. Lots of outages in my area.

I am about 50 N of Atlanta. This tree (yes, it is one single tree) missed my '73 by about 15 feet.

We had a couple bad branches hanging over where we park. I lassoed them, looped my recovery strap on them and gave them a tug with the tractor and just popped them off so I don't have to deal with it this winter.

The whole tree needs to come down... I need a bigger tractor to pull that off.

Bring it on down here to the southeast. We can fell that tree in one hurricane or tropical storm.

It is an oak, it actually just took a 70+mph gust a couple weeks ago. Seems very reluctant to drop branches on its own. A live pine sort of tree in my windbreak broke off... my half dead oak rode it out like a champ.

This one goes vroom. It isn't a Ford tractor...
