It's 5 hours away. Not bad. If I go I'm definitely gonna do the Rally. I'll have to see about this 1. The Mark Twain National Forest is up there. I've heard it's got some great overlanding spots. I may want to go a couple days early to explore.

That is what I’m thinking. There are a ton of attractions in the area I want to go a few days before to explore. I saw there was a zoo next to the expo, and then there are a bunch of museums as well as a couple forests.

It would have been just the weekend but then I saw all the museums. I’ll have to look into the forest if we would want to do an informal trail ride throughout which would be fun.

We are still thinking about going, primitive camping at SMORR is kind of appealing. 45 mile drive isn't horrible and you can run the rally either from there or to there so one day of driving is a wash anyway. We would get there Thursday and leave Sunday.

We are still thinking about going, primitive camping at SMORR is kind of appealing. 45 mile drive isn't horrible and you can run the rally either from there or to there so one day of driving is a wash anyway. We would get there Thursday and leave Sunday.

You forgot to mention that primitive camping at smorr saves roughly $100 compared to camping at the Moore Expo.

This event kinda slipped my mind...

I'll double check but my oldest daughter is having a baby right around that time. It's gonna depend I think... last time she had a C -section and I was on the hook for a bunch of helpful duties. This time she will also have a toddler that Paw Paw is gonna have to watch.

I'll follow up here as I'm gonna see my daughter tomorrow.
