Will post pics from start to finish!

Basically I'm just going to build a wood frame for it to bolt to with four wheels.

It's going to be ugly and heavy, but functional and comfortable.

Wish me luck!

Right now I'm working through designs, I'm trying to make it so the front of the base is strait, but the back NEEDS to be at a slant because I still want to recline lol. It's a heavy chair and I don't wanna fall over.

Most people I hear doing something like this are using a lightweight racing seat, to go along with their wheel/pedals for a more realistic feel in driving/racing games.
I've even seen some go as far as adding a racing harness. I guess they wanna feel safe if they crash.......

I've always said, if the doctor insists that I get more exercise, I will get a recliner with TWO handles......... As long as you're building your own, why not get a jump on the issue.

My credo
Love Thy Neighbor
I've found perfectly good chairs on the side of the road that I scooped for the metal...drive around on junk day (if you have them in the States...they're like religious holidays in Canada...so many worshipers making the trip to mechanical heaven)...you're bound to find what you need for free...
