Is it possible to install a new front leaf spring bracket on the driver side without removing the gaz tank and bed off??..I am feeling lazy after doing the dana 35 swap...I was thinking of welding the two upper bolt onto a flat bar and the 2 lower on an other one and slid it between the frame and then bolting it....i am maybe dreaming in color right now...just wondering if anybody ever attempt something like that.

you at least need to take the bed off so you can slip your hand down between the tank and frame rail to put a wrench on the bracket bolts.

that where the flat bar came in...if the 2 bolt are welded on one flat bar...no need to get a wrench between the tank and frame...just tight the nut outside the frame...

I've never removed a bed or gas tank for any work on the drivers side. I probably do at least one of these every month or two at work. I built s a 'custom' wrench that i just tack weld the bolt to and fish it along the frame rail and out the hole, when you zip the nut up with am impact the torque breaks the weld and voila.
