I'm also repairing the passenger side frame too. It's not in bad shape, but the way these frames last in the salt... I'm going to take care of it while I've got the bed off.

So the frame repair is finished.
I got my replacement drivers side brake light in last week. Also just bought a new 4x4 control module from eBay.
I'm thinking about paint, it currently has three shades of metallic blue on it. I'm considering a OD Green military looking paint job. It's either that or just matching the original blue. No sure yet on that though.

I just realized I haven't posted any progress in a while. I've actually had her on the road for almost three weeks now. 4x4 is working now. I installed the extra leaf springs. I cranked the front t-bars ( I'm still going to install different keys) I mounted the bed. Threw on some 245 75's. It goes down the road nice. I am having a problem getting it out of 4x4, I have to come to a complete stop to get it to disengage, any ideas why? I've still got plenty of work to do, but it's 100% functional at this point. Boy it's nice to have a truck again!

I have a 2001 2wd with the 8 spark plug 4 cylinder and I've found a 6cyl 4x4 ext cab with front passenger side damage (hood fender grill and lights. Possible radiator damage) getting a great deal on 98 with less than 150,000. my question is will my 2001 body parts and radiator fit on there. Figured you would know with your rebuild

body parts should be direct bolt up. the Radiator might not work, I do believe that the 4.0 v6 has a double row radiator where the 4 cylinder does not. Not sure about the 3.0 radiator.
