I have a 88 ranger and the other day i put in my new radio. Well i pulled the wires up to connect to to the radio and one of the wires sparked. so now i dont have any instrument panel lights except the high beam indicator. the push button 4x4 also doesnt have anh lights plus the climate control and the atuomatic transmission shift boot all dont have lights i checked the fuse and its good. also all exterior lights work. what needs to be checked next?

what about the headlight switch? did you try turning it? you know how the dash dimmer works right?
did you check all the fuses? not just the one for dash lights?
