I know very little about porting the upper and lower intakes, so can these phenolic spacers be used as a template to do so? I understand that this material is difficult to cut/shape without the proper tools/bits, so would it be just a matter of porting the intakes to match the spacers?
Also, how would you prevent the spacers and upper intake from shifting side to side, front to back, so your freshly ported intakes and spacers don't misalign? I know that the stock gaskets will shift, and the upper intake will too before torqueing it down.
