so my battery died as I was pulling into my garage tonight and I don't have cables, so I called my pops and he came over but then realized his cables were in his other car. I had some thick wire/cable in my garage so I cut the cable in half and stripped the ends of the now two separate cables. I wrapped two ends around my battery terminals and my dad held the other ends onto his and boom! Improv jump start! Haha:yahoo:

You can touch bumpers and then you only need to improvise a positive cable.
