So the fan sounds like it's spinning the same speed as the motor 100% of the time. Now I'm no expert on fan clutches but I believe the clutch is supposed to release when the temp of the fluid is below a certain degree right?

My motor is running nice and cool with no codes but the constant howling of the fan is annoying. Not to mention its prob killing my gas mileage. The clutch isn't seized though, the fan spins freely when the motor is off... What am I missing?

Why would it spin freely with the engine off but stick with it on? It's not that I don't believe you, I just don't get it :icon_confused:

its not about how it spins free. when they say the clutch fan has locked up, its not literal. They will still spin slower, but its not regulated like before. Get a new clutch and your in buisness. or heres your chance to E fan it. (what i did)
