I got lucky, the pulley didn't hit anything else. at first i thought it went through the radiator but it was just coolant boiling out of the cap because the water pump wasn't turning anymore. If ford had wanted to make the pulley spin that way, the threads should have been left handed.

Oh, this problems been solved. Not sure if anyone wants to move this thread now.

Then people would have broken the bolts trying to take the bad one off.... it's a lose lose situation for the Engineers here....

isn't it the job of the engineers to find a solution to lose lose situations, like maybe using 2 bolts instead of one? that way the bolt would be stressed laterally, not centrifugally...
