People have been real jerks on here lately (more so than usual)

Everyone hates on me for being from CA, and I find there stereotypes very offensive. They assume I am one of those liberals that ruined this state, when on the contrary I am being driven out by the very people they think I am. My lifestyle, political views etc, is actually more like midwesterners, based on travelers who got to know me. I'm more 'Murican than "L.A".

For starters what kind of liberal yuppie would even be on this forum fixing up a beat up old ranger and driving it off road for recreation? Yet you all think I'm that guy . I dont go to starbucks! I dont go to disneyland!

Posting suggestions gets me hate more often than not. Sometimes I have to just stop messing with a thread to avoid conflict or getting pissed off.

Everything becomes a political and ideals debate.

Anything funny gets moderated away and a scolding.

Anyways, thanks everyone (sincerely), for helping maintain my bleak world view, and showing me the futility of human endeavor.

Thats a bit of an extreme description, but I guess it can be taken that way, and I have mostly kept my humor to myself since then.

And I was referring to other peoples posts that I found funny, but offended many others probably including you.

I think my hearts been broken so much it kind of developed a dark sense of humor in me to cope. Id just rather laugh than cry or hate.

I would live, die and kill for my friends, and bend over backwards for them. I'll give a stranger the shirt off my back.

Also done many good deeds that did go unpunished.

If someone comes over and loves and needs something of mine more than I do, I gift it to them.

Im not gonna try to change your opinion or win you over. But I will try not to offend you anymore, and hope to succeed.

Matter of fact please dont like me. I have enough "friends". And the lack of enemies is apparently a bad thing, for I lack defense and paranoia.

People like me (empaths) get eaten alive in this world. But I cant change that, so I have accepted my fate.

I thought its was a funny, albeit dark, way saying "hey it could be worse".....

But then realized its not cool. Apologized, felt remorse, changed my ways. It still wasn't enough.

Have you never been in my shoes, even perhaps in maybe a different way? Nobody's perfect. I'm a from believer in second chances, maybe even 3rd...but not fourth. That's when its their problem.

What is the word for people who refuse to forgive or are harsh punishers? is it Draconian or Zealot? I know its probably something else.

You're right, cant win em all. It does bother me when people don't like me. But true, I guess the world is not over and on I must live.

I wouldn't be as bothered if it wasn't for simply making the wrong impression. You got me wrong man, and really that ain't me, maybe I was on a rad one, in a mood or just not being myself. Or trying to hard to be a part of.

Maybe I'm spoiled, my people let my occasional strayings slide, based on the rest of my character.

@Dirtman doesnt like me either but its under different circumstances, and is still probably one of my favorite people, even though he is also a mean jerk sometimes lol...I probably dont even like him much either haha, but do love the guy! (Don't tell him I said that last part).

You don't have to like me, but I would appreciate if you forgave me. I did feel true remorse, and it would be sad if that means nothing in this world, it would encourage not having any for better survival.
