your PCV should be in your valve cover opposite end of fill cap, not sure about the relay but if you have or can get a haynes manual for your truck[highly recommended] it may have a picture of all your relays and location

The '89 doesn't use a relay for the blower motor. Blower resistors are used to set the speeds. They are located next to the blower motor under the hood. A plug with 4 wires is hooked to it. You will have to replace it. 2 screws hold it to the pluemn(sp), just take them out and it comes right out.

Here's a link to get an online manual for your truck.

the PCV is located on the drivers side of the engine, to the rear of where the upper and lower intake bolt together and just below, it is in the middle of two hoses that are different sizes, the replacement PCV will have a plastic elbow installed on it, pull it off and it'll stick right in.

if that doesn't make sense, I'll try again later, I have a picture but no way to host it right now...

Yes, the clip on the outside of the heater box under the hood...you can get them from similar Rangers or even F-series trucks but the wires may be different colors...I used one from the F-series trucks because they tend to be in better shape than the Ranger ones...

If you haven't found the PCV yet...it's like Scotts90ranger said...easier to locate on a FI model but you may have a power steering or alternator in the way...I usually take the bolt off the alternator on the bottom and flip it up out of the way to access that area (distributor and PCV are close together on mine)...but make sure you tie the alternator off so it doesn't flop down on your hands while you're working on it...that can hurt!

the PCV is on the rear side of the intake back near between #3 and #4 cylinders but where the two halves of the intake are bolted together so the alternator shouldn't be in the way (I know what place you're talking about Mark, but it's just a hose elbow on these). my truck is basically an '89 and my parts truck is definetely an '89, so it should be the same

Thanks for clarifying scott...the FI models are a bit different but I've taken so many parts off them...I usually remember where everything is though...been thinking of going FI for quite a while...still like the carbed setup though...so few wires...
