How far off and which way? Is this something that can be made to work with a little cut and welding? Or....does anyone know of a place that sells the header for the 2.5?

Should be interchangeable other than maybe the collector end of it fitting your exhaust pipe. 2.3's made in 93-97 (?) had factory tubular headers instead of a cast iron manifold and the 2.5 head will fit on a 2.3 block and vise versa.

Don't know if you will see any difference in performance on a stock engine though.

2.3l SOHC and 2.5L SOHC use the same head, so that end will fit

2.5l had a different crank and longer connecting rods, so a stroked 2.3l
Used same head, pistons, exhaust and intake

Ok cool! Thanks everyone. If the tubes/flange fits, I can cut/fab/bend/weld anything else that might need working. Have a shop here. I just didnt want to get into having to make a flange and then make all my own tubes from scratch if I didnt have to. Have some plans for a few things and this header thing may help a lil. Dont hurt to try.

Of all the random stuff they changed on the Lima engines over the years the exhaust flange at the head is one thing they did not screw with from the start... there's like 5 different intake patterns, at least a couple different oil pans, they even moved the oil pump in '95ish...
