huh..axle door code 845

I searched around and think I saw a 845-M but not 845.
axle tag says:
S398B (so, ranger 83-85 3.45 ratio open diff)
next line was: 45 A 75 4L21

75 (7.5 inch)
4L21 (21 dec. 1984)

now the 45 and A i have no idea. That is if I read it right. It was starting on dark and the skeeters were getting a mite frisky.

Just curious if anyone else has axle code 845 on the door...and did I read the axle tag right?

on the diff tag on the bottom line the 3 is under the bolt (like it is 99% of the time for whatever reason), so 3 45 so 3.45:1 ratio.

Honestly I've never cared about anything but the ratio and either LS or open and 7.5 or 8.8, the rest I've never looked into and have VERY little ambition to...
