It has been a Minute...but I have Swapped a Automatic from my 1987 4X4 SLT to a fm145.. Thank You Baby Jesus.. I actually got to Drive around for 5 months before the Slave took a dump (FYI The fm145 and 146 You MUST remove Trans at Motor to change Slave or Release Bearing) the MOD5 is Different and Better in this respect. This isn't Mentioned anywhere in the "Transmission Swap Pages" Yes it would affect the Decision of which Trans to Use.. New Slave and she's back in and wouldn't you know I broke a piece on the Install.. This little POS of Plastic that goes on the Transfer case Shifter (pictures).. Anyone got a Clue as to what it's called, Part Number, Where in Heavens to Betsy I can Find one, a reasonable Work around? I'm game... I'll try anything Once and Twice if I get Hurt, Slapped, Spit On or Cussed at.. I'm Open to ANY and All Suggestions, even those that are of the Physically Improbable..
