Hello everyone, thanks for any information you may be able to give me. I have a 99 Ranger XLT, it has the 60/40 seats. I would like to go to buckets, and also want a full size center console. I know that the Explorers are the same chassis, and that some of their interior products will fit into this. Can anyone tell me what year Explorers I should look at for this, which ones will fit? Thanks so much for any input, it is appreciated!!!

Loads of "been there, done that" articles from members here

Look in the Interior Electronics & Upholstery section

There are a few options

Explorer(4-door) seats don't have the "fold forward seat backs" like Rangers have, it can matter, lol
Explorer sport(2-door) does have that but only on passenger side seat
If your 1999 is an extended cab 4-door that might not matter, but just a "heads up"

On regular cab Rangers you have to watch the height and thickness of the back, because it may not go back far enough and keep a comfortable angle for driving

Ok awesome thanks so much for that information. I do have the extended cab, and I never thought about the seats not tilting forward, thats a great observation. And thanks for the bookmark for me to look through. Have a great day and thanks again!!
