Just joined up yesterday. I have been reading through the techinical section. Its is awsome!!
I just purchased my 2008 Ranger Sport about 1 month ago. Has 71,000km on it..show room condition and got it for a great price! I like doing project vehicles so will be doing a project of sorts with this truck..will start a thread on that today I think. It will be repowered with a VW 2.0 Common Rail engine, and lowered in two different stages. I am looking for a high fuel mileage and high torque build that can get work and play done on a daily basis. Looking forward to opinions on stuff, since I know relatively little about the Rangers at this point. There will be lots to discuss on tranny and diff and over drive options, and suspension mods.
Other vehicles I own include a 96 F250 4x4 crew cab powered by a hopped up 5.9 Cummins. An 99 Audi A4Q TDI conversion (the ex just totaled it actually), and a 2001 Audi A4 RWD TDI race car (450HP/560ft-lbs) build that is 3 years in the making and hopefully will be running at least on engine stand this summer.
