I cant seem to find them but yet there's kits for the 2.3L & 3.0L up to 92 & 95-2011? I have cross checked with O'Reilly's and the 94 2.3 & 3.0 use the same flywheel as the 96 2.3 & 3.0, they also use the same slave cylinder & the disc & spline count are the same if both use the 8 7/8 ,yet 9 1/8 is also available for 3.0.
I can get a XTR STAGE 1 CLUTCH KIT+SLAVE CYL w/ throw out bearing that come with a 9 1/8 Full Face Organic disc is resistant to slippage and burst. For $147.20 w/free shipping
Or the XTR RACING STAGE 3 CLUTCH KIT SET w/o slave ,but comes with new throw out bearing & is 8 7/8 6-puck Copper Ceramic (also known as MIBA) disc features high-coefficient friction pads that are resistant to slippage and burst. For $139.94 w/ free shipping
both kits come with pressure plate, alignment tool & pilot bearing.
My 94 has the 2.3L with 4.10 8.8LSD, I have a business of recycling appliances & usually always have a heavy load on truck plus tow a 6x12 flatbed that at times has more then 3200 lbs on it.
Stock clutch kits last about 1 1/2-2 years, but I figured a performance clutch should last even longer.
My truck also has a 5.5 suspension lift & is 2wd for now, plan a SAS 4wd conversion. also plan to run 265/75/16 Load E tires which are 32" & either 4.56 or 4.88 gears.
Currently running 30x9.50/15LT
What kit do you guys think I should buy?
